British Invasionby Teder | 13.10.14
We know that we weren’t the first to come up with this internet-radio thing. Even if they don’t serve Arak, there are lots of stations out there in the world that we love and are inspired by, one of which is London’s NTS Radio.
This week we will be collaborating with the latter in a special NTS Takeover, with 3 of the station’s top DJs Bradley Zero, John Rust and Kutmah. Kutmah, a central figure in the LA beat scene (who moved to London after sadly being deported. A long story that involves bureaucracy and heartache) has visited us before and showed us how his great DJ skills and mad selections make him one of the most interesting DJs in the world.
Bradley is also a friend of Tel Aviv ever since he came here as part of the Boiler Room team – he is one of the key players in the group, in charge of looking for grooves all over the planet. The only one we haven’t met before is John Rust – But from listening to his sets we know we’re in for a wild ride. All the guys will broadcast a special takeover show from the van, and later play in the Heder, which has lately been proving itself wonderfully as a makeshift mini club.
If you’re looking for somewhere bigger to dance around in, make sure you come through to the special Teder X Bloom minifest! A 2 day happening in Tel Aviv’s new and mysterious Bloom space, With shows by Lo Kohot (Gilad Kahana & Tamir Muskat), Boom Pam + Trifonas, The Angelcy, Ariel Zilber (!!) and many more. More details and tickets here.
Can’t make it for some strange reason? You can still tune in on Teder.fm!
